Default 2003 Expedition Starter Solenoid
Hello, I thought this looked like a place where ford owners can go and get straight answers. I have a 2003 Expedition that suddenly will not start. I believe I have traced it to a starter solenoid that says it should be mounted on the right side of the firewall. I bought the new part but have searched for over 5 hours for the location of this part and have not been able to find it. The parts store says it has to be on the firewall, the local Ford dealer says I have to bring the vehicle in and intentionally refused to tell me the location of the part. It is a 4.6ltr V-8. Am I losing my mind or just going down the wrong path. Thanks for any help that might be out there. Gerry Sullivan Idaho Falls ID.
