missing serial number tag

I am rebuilding a 1948 F1 pickup. I had the cab soda blasted so I could fix all possible problems. Here is my problem.

The place that blasted it for me knocked the serial number plate from the glove box door with the high air pressure and lost it! I have the title in my name but what happens it I want to sell it or go through an inspection? Is there any way I can have a new tag reproduced and if so where?
