hey everyone, my name is steven and i just got a 97 wagon. it was in a wreck and was rebuilt. so i need to get the enhance inspection done. the only problem is that the light for the airbags are still flashing. how do i get them to turn off?
it looks like the bags were replaced but i dont know for sure. if at all possible i would just like to turn off the lights to get it inspected. im used to not having any saftey features in my cars. i used to own a mazda rx7, fc3s so i dont really care if it doesnt have working airbags.
I think your car has airbag sensors on both front fenders. You must find those two sensors and make sure they are plug in. Once you find them and both are connected. Disconnect your negative terminal from your battery for around 5 to 10 minutes. Then connect it back and see if this works. I know because I did it and it worked. Another thing you should know if this don't work then you have a bad sensor. Good luck and try the cheapest one first before you start buying sensors.
