Default Ford Fan

Hello everyone.

I am a true ford fan. I have owned thus far a:

1988 Mustang LX 5.0 (79,000 miles trade-in for CV)
1991 Crown Victoria LX (274,000 miles, sold it running)
2002 Crown Victoria Sport ( 111,000 Driving it)
2002 Excursion XLT 5.4l (100,000 Driving it)

I have come to this site to find out about my EATC on my 02 CV.

Thanks to the forum in advance,

Tim

Thanks 91xlt.
I found the problem and fixed it. I wish I could remember where I saw the post of this problem to give proper credit. Someone had pictures of the BMSC and talked about bad solder joints. Mine was bad, so I resoldered it, put it back in and now the blower fan is working again.

can you post pics of where you soldered. This could become a common problem.

My both mothers Towncars and the Continental have had to have the EATC replaced for one reason or another.

I will look for the post again.

The same solder joint in this picture was the one I had to resolder.
I did not have to remove the heater hose though it was a pain in the arse.
