Welcome
I live in Central Florida but according to Carfax my Ex was originally from Ohio. I have a 96 Explorer Eddie Bauer Edition all stock except for a CB radio. Do you have any pictures of yours yet?

Nice Expedition. I'm planning to get 2" of lift on my Explorer using the torsion bars and new shackles. Right now I have Uniroyal Liberators and they are good tires, especially for the rainy season. After the lift I plan on getting some larger BFG A/T's. What tires are you thinking about using with your lift?

I'm an Ohioan myself (in Canfield, by Youngstown) & I drive a '97 F-150 4x4 Off-Road 4.6 with custom factory pinstriping & 5-speed auto.

My uncle has Pro Comp X-terrains on his F-150 and the wear good and don't make too much noise on the highway. I would love to get Procomps on my Explorer, but they don't make any that would fit, even with 2" more clearance

I have 235/75/15 which is the original size for the Explorer. I should be able to fit 31's but I'm not sure if they will look too big for the SUV. Do bigger tires decrease gas mileage? I get a different a answer everytime I ask someone. What do you think?
