Thumbs up Ascendant/Rising Sign

Ecliptics bypass the middle of zodiacal belt which expands 9 degrees on either north or south side. The planets stay in the restrictions of the zodiac. Once in 24 hours earth go around its axis from west to east. As an outcome all other planets revolve around earth from east to west in 24 hours. Zodiac along with the stars and signs set on it also emerge to rotate around earth from east to west, again once in 24 hours.

As a result of it all points on signs and stars on the zodiac will materialize to effectively rise in the eastern horizon and placed at the western horizon once in 24 hours. On every point and time on earth there will be an exclusive point on a specific zodiac sign which rises in the eastern horizon.

When a person is born, that particular zodiac sign point, expressed in longitude, which rises in the eastern horizon at the time of that person’s birth for the specific latitude/longitude of the person’s birth place is the exclusive room time synchronizes for the person. This specific position is known as the person’s Ascendant (Lagna) or the Rising Sign.

For Astrology Matching, In Vedic Astrology, the accurate location of Moon at the time of birth with respect to the zodiac sign and the point in the zodiac sign expressed in longitudes will be Janma Rashi/ Moon Sign/ Moon Ascendant.
