Default Radio only plays with car in park
I'm driving my brother's Ford Escape. I discovered today that the radio only plays when the vehicle is in park. As soon as I put the Escape in drive, the radio and clock turns off. Any idea what I can do to fix this for him?

Wow that is a strange feature, sounds like an electrical issue. Contact Ford and see if this is a recall item.

i have an eclipse 7" in dash dvd player in my car and it has the same type feature where it wont play a movie inless the ebrake is on.... and i just took the wire that runs to the ebrake ground and grounded it permanetly.....now i can illegally watch movies and drive
