Smile 2005 Ford Taurus keyless entry code

I have had my car for about a year and never knew how to get the factory set keyless entry code to lock/unlock the doors and open the trunk. Is it true that you can retrieve it from the remote antitheft personality module? If so, where is the module located? I would rather not go to the dealer because they seem to charge you for everything. They wanted to charge me $100 bucks to program the keyless remote, which I did myself

Thanks in advance!

I don't know if this helps, but my Lincoln Towncar had the code taped to the trunk lid support, maybe you could try looking in the trunk anywhere there could be a spot that tape could stick to. Good Luck! Mark
