 2001 Ford Escape remote start problem
Good evening! I have a 2001 Ford Escape with what I believe is a dealer installed Ford remote start system with 4 button remote. I recently changed the battery and now the remote start will not work. When I press the blue start key, the horn short beeps twice and does nothing. Previously it would beep once, lock the doors, start the car and put the parking lights on. The open and close buttons work with the horn beeping once and then doing their job. Previously it worked the same, only without the beeping. I don't know how to get the thing back on track, can anyone help? Thanks in advance for any help you can give. Mark |
