Smile 1988 LTD Crown Victoria LX Stereo Wiring!!!

well im having a problem with my radio. i have all the wires hooked up all color coded but non of the speakers inside my car are working. my subwoofer is working fine but im sick of using 2 house speakers to hear High Pitches. i have a wierd thing in my trunk with alot of wires with different colors. wondering if that has somthing to do with my speakers not working. my stock radio worked fine. i just would like to have music play inside and take my bulky house speakers back inside. Thanks to any 1 that can help me. i will take pictures of the wierd thing in my trunk and of how i wired the radio... but any help would be greatly appriciated...

Yeah, you probably have a "factory amp" inside your car. Schosce or Metra may make a bypass harness for it.

behind the back seat on the driver's side should be the amp, you probably can just hack the ends of the old amp and build your bypass like that.

dude cutting the factory harness is not good should you ever sell your car it makes your car look stolen. spend the 5 bucks and buy the plug. if you have a factory you will need a line output converter
