Plaing Ipod through 1994 ford thunderbird LX stereo
How do i Listen to my Ipod though the stereo of my 1994 Thunderbird LX i have the the cassate adapter and Ciggarat power plug but when i put the cassate adapter in the tape player no music comes out. Somebody told me i had to tune the radio to a certain station but i do not know which one and the care came with out a Manual since we brought it used. TIA
If you have the cassette adaptor you cannot tune the radio to a frequency to listen to your ipod. Most likely the tape deck is not able to use the adaptor. There are ipod adaptors that use radio frequencies that can be obtained. Those are the ones that you tune to. Does not hook to radio at all. You could always purchase an aftermarket Cd player like I have for around 150 like a pioneer. Some of them have the adapter on the front of the radio. I you want installation advice I can help. I have the same car.
