How easy is it to replace the radio in a 91 f-150 do i need a conversion kit so it'll fit in the hole and are the wires diffrent?

if you go to any car stereo store, or wal-mart there is a plug adapter and a face plate kit that will fill in any gaps that there would be. i have done atleast 10-15 ford stereos. all just as easy..... the plug adapter is color coded so its almost brainless to install.

Aww Joe, that link only goes back to 96. That sucks for my 95. Ha. But that is a very helpful link. And as for the kit, yeah any good walmart will have the right stuff just like rhcx48d said, in fact I saw one there last night. Good luck

Haynes and Chilton repair manuals also show MOST vehicle radio removals and wiring diaghrams. If you don't have one yet, get it!
