Default Ford Explorer security system problems?

Soooo.. the car lot we bought our 2003 Explorer from has the vehicle (supposedly trying to fix it). They say that they think the security system has everything shut down. I find that pretty odd considering it was working fine one night, then wouldn't start the next morning when nothing had happened to it. Anyway aside from "go to the dealership" does anyone have any suggestions on how to reset or disable the alarm system so we can determine whether or not that is the problem?

You can try doing this but remember that the alarm system runs through the power-train control module assemble as well.

Disconnect the 5-amp fuse in the central junction box (CJB)

Not to sound disrespectful to the dealership but all that they need to do is scan the vehicles computer for the alarm section and they will see what is or what is not reading correctly..

They will also need to check the central security module assembly as well..
