 CD Holder in Taurus console stuck
Hello. A week ago I was hit from behind on the freeway (I stopped due to construction traffic, but the two people behind me did not.) Surprisingly, I had minimal damage to our 2000 Taurus sedan. However, since then the CD player will not work and when you try to eject the CD holder to remove the CD's, it only makes a sound like it is trying over and over. Could the impact have caused it to jam? It worked fine before we were hit. It has a cartridge that is inserted vertically inside the console between the two front seats. I need to determine if I should contact the individual who hit me and request they repair it. I am unsure if it is just a coincidence that it stopped working just after the impact. Thanks for any advice. |
