Strip/Street I used BFGoodrich G-Force sports on my 91 Fox (350hp). Most worthless tire ever! Swapped over to the Nitto 555R and 2nd gear actually had traction! Great tire in dry scary in wet. Everyone in my shop is using them now. Tons of sizes

Michelin - especially the X, X-Ice-2 and LT X. Sold at discount stores (Costco and Sam's Club). They wear like iron, good wet traction, good (not great) dry traction. Even the non-snows are pretty good in the snow.

You can not beat them for price and durability.

Default Posting suggestions for tire brands

Hi,
Well I'm getting new tires, but through where I work, so I'm very limited on
what brands I can choose. fwiw, I'd go with Goodyear or Kelly/Republic if
I had a choice (maybe Cooper), but I don't.

Dunlop direzza z1 star specs. Nicest cheap tire hands down. Youll run through sets quick only about 10k miles before you need a swap but the stickiness if unbelieveable. My friend has f1's on his r32 and he said my bimmer handled nicer with the direzzas.

Goodyear's for me. Triple Tread Assurance on the car. Awesome thru snow and even better on wet roads.
Silent Armour's on my diesel. Good quite ride and great thru the snow. All made in the great U.S.A.
