I have a 1955 ford f-100 pick-up which has 1955 16 inch rims with old bias ply tires. I want to put radial tires on these stock rims. I understand that todays rims have a extra thick bead on the edge of the rim to hold the radial on.Anybody out there know if there is any truth to the statement about putting radials on old rims?
