Thumbs up New shoes on a Vic

When I got my '05 Crown Vic the rims and tires needed help. The tires were snow tires and weren't dead yet but come winter they'd need to be replaced. The wheels were dirty and a bit rusty stock 16" steelies that looked like this:

So I washed and painted them to at least hold me over, $10 for paint was in my budget at the time and they turned out pretty good but I still couldn't get the tires to look/stay clean:

Then I blew a tire so the decision was either get one new tire, get all new tires earlier than expected, or get new wheels and tires. One tire doesn't make sense and the extra tire I had would cost a bit to get it taken off the wheel it's on and put on the car. A new set of tires runs $400+ and I'd still be rockin' the steelies. So, I found what I wanted, a set of '05 Mustang 17" Bullits with tires that were only on the Mustang to drive it home and replace them with 20's. So I got a set of nearly new Pirelli PZero Nero tires and rims for the price of new tires, not a bad deal.

wow! what a difference great looking car.
I have an 86 vic with wire wheel covers that I HATE. I have been wondering what different wheels would look like on my car. Thanks for posting your pics.
