Hi everyone... we are looking at getting an 04 Freestar to replace our 01 Escape. However we JUST got 4 brand new 16" tires as well as very nice alloy wheels from an 06 Mustang for the Escape, so if I sell the car I would prefer to keep the new tires and rims to put on the new car. The Escape DID previously have 15" wheels and my mechanic didn't have a problem putting 16" wheels on it, but I'm really clueless as to if this same process would work for a Freestar... I don't mind if the speedometer is off a little bit or whatever, I'd just really hate to see the new tires and rims wasted on a trade-in where they're not going to give me anything anyway... thanks...
