does anyone know if a full size spare will fit in the stock location under the rear of the van ??? i hate donut spares.

I think the Ranger uses the same wheel. Get a tape measure and check it out.

Is there definatly room in a 96? The changes in the newer ones may have provided more room. I would make sure there is room before buying a new wheel. Maybe jack it up and remove one of your wheels, and check for fitting that way.
